About NAZALI ATTORNEY PARTNERSHIP

During my 18 years of IP experience, I have been involved in the drafting of various patents regarding food, chemical, pharmaceutical, steel, agriculture and various sectors, and took part in the prosecution of various procedures such as application, assignments, mergers and renewals before the TURKPATENT. Within my career, I represented nearly 8000 patents, 200 designs, 1200 trademarks of foreign and local applicants before the TURKPATENT, as well as gained experience in well-known trademarks and geographical indications. Furthermore, I have been dealing with plant breeder’s rights (PBR) since 2008. I have prepared and submitted almost 220 PBR applications at the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry in Turkiye, attended several conferences/fairs about PBR and acted as an active member of CIOPORA. In the meantime, I dealt with the prosecution of many custom protection applications before the Ministry of Trade. I also represented my employer company at international conferences all over the world as a participant and a speaker. As a result of this intense pace of work, I become specialized in the field of trademark oppositions, EP validation procedures, patent infringement analysis and FTO reports. I worked on preparation of technical opinion reports and participated in pursuance of litigation matters for my clients together with the Legal colleagues. I am still in charge of intellectual property operations both in Turkiye and abroad of many foreign companies from Germany, USA, Japan, India and Korea.
